About Amish Furniture of Nebraska

Selling handcrafted furniture since 1992

Amish Furniture of Nebraska runs two Nebraska showrooms — Grand Island and Elkhorn — carrying solid hardwood furniture built by Amish and American workshops for the dining room, bedroom, living room and home office, along with kitchen islands and vanities, mattresses, outdoor furniture and home accessories.

Most of what we sell is made to order rather than pulled off a warehouse shelf. That means you choose the wood species, the stain and finish, the hardware, the size and, on many pieces, the configuration — so a dining table fits the room it is actually going in, and a bedroom set matches what you already own. Our staff will walk you through those choices in the showroom.

Solid wood, built to be handed down

Our furniture is made from real hardwood rather than particleboard, using joinery and finishing techniques passed down through generations of craftspeople. That is the point of buying this way: a piece you can hand on rather than replace. Our solid wood pieces come from makers including Townline, Schwartz Creations, Country Meadow, Fireside Log and FN Chairs, alongside upholstered sofas, sleepers, sectionals and recliners from Marshfield, LuxHome and Fjords, and mattresses from Heartland.

Delivery

We deliver furniture bought at either showroom. Because availability, scheduling and cost depend on your address and on the pieces you order, the store handling your order will confirm the details with you — see our delivery page or call the showroom nearest you.
